Abstract
TRECS is the acronym for Technology, Reading and Early
Childhood Services which is the name of the web and DVD based literacy support program developed for remote Indigenous early childhood workers. This report documents the first stage, funded by the NT Department of Education (DET), of a two stage project. It was designed to meet a pressing need in remote Indigenous community early childhood services where significant numbers of remote workers are not literate.
